Gabriel Brandão da Costa, known as Brandão85 (or simply Brandão), is a prominent Brazilian rapper, songwriter, and music producer. Born on February 18, 2000, in Fortaleza, Ceará, he grew up heavily influenced by the regional reggae culture of Caponga beach. At 18, he fully transitioned to trap music.After starting independently, he signed with Hash Produções in 2020, releasing hits like "Mustang". Following major legal and management contract disputes that temporarily sidelined his career, he parted ways with his old label.Mentored by Matuê, Brandão joined the powerhouse label 30PRAUM. He made a triumphant comeback with his acclaimed album CEO (2024) and further consolidated his raw lyrical style and sociopolitical vision with his highly anticipated Isso É Trap mixtape series.
