Faria Abdullah is an Indian actress, dancer, theatre artist, and model who works predominantly in Telugu cinema alongside Hindi streaming productions. Born on May 28, 1998, in Hyderabad, Telangana, into an Urdu-speaking Muslim family to Sanjay Abdullah and Kausar Sultana, she completed her schooling at Bhavan's and Meridian School in Hyderabad. A passionate performing artist from an early age, she trained in various dance disciplines including Kathak, hip-hop, and belly dance and actively participated in Hyderabad's English and Telugu theatre circuits with troupes like Samahaara and Nishumbita. She pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Loyola Academy, Secunderabad, where she caught the attention of filmmaker Nag Ashwin during a college event, leading to her film audition. She made a sensational feature film debut portraying Shamili "Chitti" in Anudeep K. V.'s blockbuster comedy *Jathi Ratnalu* (2021) opposite Naveen Polishetty. Her effortless comedic timing, distinctive tall frame, and charismatic screen presence turned "Chitti" into a cultural sensation, earning her widespread recognition and a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. She followed this breakthrough with guest and special appearances in *Most Eligible Bachelor* (2021) and *Bangarraju* (2022), before playing the female lead in Merlapaka Gandhi's comedy thriller *Like, Share & Subscribe* (2022) and Sudheer Varma's psychological action thriller *Ravanasura* (2023) alongside Ravi Teja. Faria made her Hindi streaming debut headlining Nila Madhab Panda's acclaimed climate-fiction investigative thriller series *The Jengaburu Curse* (2023) on SonyLIV, drawing critical praise for her layered dramatic performance. She continued demonstrating her versatility in comedy and action in *Aa Okkati Adakku* (2024), made a special appearance in the sci-fi epic *Kalki 2898 AD* (2024), and earned major acclaim for portraying Inspector Nidhi in the hit comedy thriller *Mathu Vadalara 2* (2024)—for which she also showcased her musical talents as a lyricist, singer, and choreographer for the promotional track "Drama Nakko Mama".
