Nivetha Pethuraj is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Born on November 30, 1991, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, she grew up in Kovilpatti and later relocated to Dubai with her family, where she completed her schooling and earned a degree in Human Resource Management from Heriot-Watt University. In 2015, she won the Miss India UAE pageant, which paved the way for her entry into the entertainment industry. She made her acting debut in the critically acclaimed Tamil romantic comedy-drama *Oru Naal Koothu* (2016). She entered Telugu cinema the following year with Vivek Athreya's acclaimed romantic drama *Mental Madhilo* (2017), earning widespread appreciation for her performance. Known for her commanding screen presence, she quickly established herself across both industries with notable roles in India's first space film *Tik Tik Tik* (2018), *Thimiru Pudichavan* (2018), *Chitralahari* (2019), *Brochevarevarura* (2019), and *Sangathamizhan* (2019). Nivetha continued to feature in diverse mainstream projects, including the blockbuster ensemble *Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo* (2020), the action thriller *Red* (2021), *Paagal* (2021), the female-led thriller *Bloody Mary* (2022), *Virata Parvam* (2022), and *Das Ka Dhamki* (2023), alongside lead roles in web series such as *Kaala* (2023) and *Paruvu* (2024).
