The Biography

Tommaso Whitney, better known as Tommaso Ciampa, is an American professional wrestler who debuted in 2005 after training with Harley Race and Killer Kowalski and built his name on the independents and in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he won the World Television Championship. He joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2015 and became a defining figure of the NXT "Black and Gold" era, capturing the NXT Championship twice and winning the NXT Tag Team Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice alongside Johnny Gargano as #DIY. He left WWE in January 2026 and signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a one-time AEW TNT Champion.
