The Biography
Jumbo Schreiner (born November 24, 1967, in Munich; birth name: Thomas Schreiner) is a German actor, presenter, and author. Schreiner rose to prominence primarily as a "food tester" on the ProSieben infotainment magazine *Galileo*. In this role, he tests and reviews restaurants, snack bars, and extraordinary dishes from around the world. Additionally, he appeared as a car tester on the Sport1 program *Motorvision*. Alongside his television work, Schreiner is active in the music scene. He is a founding member of the jazz band Jazzmachine and was part of Hape Kerkeling's fictional band R.I.P. Uli, which achieved chart success with the single "Helsinki is Hell." Schreiner also worked as a writer for Rick Kavanian and co-authored the stage play *Kosmopilot*. Furthermore, he has participated on multiple occasions in TV events such as the *TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge* and the *TV Total Wok-WM*. In 2010, he co-hosted the show *Crazy Competition* alongside Sonya Kraus. Since 2013, Schreiner has marketed his own line of fashion, as well as grilling and BBQ products, under the brand name "Jumbo Big Size." He is also actively involved in charitable work, supporting organizations such as the children's aid charity "Stunde des Herzens," the Bavarian Cancer Society, and the Bavarian Red Cross.
