Liza is the only daughter of a millionaire and at an art exhibition she meets Alexis Valvis, who, although unemployed and penniless, pretends to be a wealthy shipowner in order to find a rich bride. He invites Liza to his yacht and picks her up in his car. In reality, both belong to Liza, but she has borrowed them through various schemes. Liza does not reveal to him that the yacht and the car are hers...
