The fake election campaign of Italian journalist Ismaele La Vardera—a mayoral candidate in Palermo in 2017 backed by Matteo Salvini—as captured by hidden cameras. La Vardera meets with politicians, power brokers, and other figures from the Sicilian political landscape. A web of personal interests converges around the young journalist.
