The Synopsis

When their son Thiện returns to Vietnam from America with his wife Mai, an elderly couple living in poverty pretends to have won the lottery to avoid embarrassing him. They borrow money to rent a luxurious villa and create the illusion of a wealthy lifestyle. However, Mai's unexpected demands force them to take their deception even further, including pretending to own a successful restaurant. With help from their kindhearted neighbor Sáu, a motorbike taxi driver, they struggle to keep their secret while mounting debts threaten to expose everything.
