The Synopsis

Tells the story of Sandhya, a young songwriter of mixed Papuan and Bandung heritage, who is struggling with writer’s block and a loss of inspiration. Upon receiving news of her father’s death in Kaimana, West Papua, Sandhya travels there and discovers her father’s home filled with memories and journals that reveal his sense of pride. In Kaimana, with the support of her cousin Kak Abbi and her younger sister Mimi, as well as the help of a local young man named Kainoa, Sandhya begins to explore the beauty of the local nature and culture. Through this journey, she rediscovers her inspiration and the meaning of life she had lost.
