At seventeen, her life fractured again when her mother was murdered. Grief-stricken and untethered, Amy fled to the streets of Nashville, where survival quickly gave way to exploitation and crack addiction. Over the next three years, she endured violence, repeated arrests, and profound isolation. In the darkest moments of her life, on the very streets that nearly destroyed her, Amy encountered God.
