The Synopsis

Billie (Anderson) is a workaholic realtor who heads home for Christmas but her journey is derailed after a loveable but chaotic canine named Yappy almost causes her car to crash. After talking to Yappy's owner, the mysterious yet oddly familiar Mrs. C, Billie agrees to watch Yappy while she visits her grandchildren for the holidays. Yappy ends up playing the role of matchmaker and new best friend, pulling Billie towards her traveling contractor ex-boyfriend from high school, Hutch (Harding). Eager to move on, she's determined to leave Hutch in the past, but when her mother hires him to work on their shed, she finds herself spending more time with him than she ever expected. As the holidays draw closer, Billie begins to question whether chasing her dream of becoming her firm's number one seller is truly what she wants. When the mysterious Mrs. C leaves her cabin for Billie and Hutch to breathe new life into, her answer may come sooner than expected.
