The Synopsis

Composer, singer, and pianist Ivan Lins has long been influenced by various musical genres, such as jazz, bossa nova, and soul. On this album, 'Saudades de Casa', Ivan brings together the very elements that shaped his style and earned him acclaim both in Brazil and abroad. He creates a relaxed atmosphere—reminiscent of a rehearsal—while showcasing a repertoire of his greatest hits alongside two delightful surprises: "Boa Nova" and "Debruçado." Close friends also feature on the album—including Chico Buarque, Daniel Gonzaga, Leila Pinheiro, and Hamilton de Holanda—along with a moving collaboration with his son, Cláudio Lins.
