The Synopsis

Stand-up comedian Joanne McNally lifts the curtain on her hectic, hilarious life on stage, off stage, and everywhere in between as she hurtles towards her biggest shows yet at the 3Arena. We follow Joanne as she performs over 100 sold-out shows around the world. From Sydney to Salt Lake City, this film captures her on-stage, on-the-road, and completely uncorked. But it’s not all hotel rooms and hangovers. Along the way, Joanne reconnects with the people who keep her grounded and occasionally drive her mad. Back home in Dublin, she visits her mum, Pat, the original straight-talker who’s been keeping Joanne’s ego in check since day one. Together, they revisit the childhood moments that have become stand-up gold. Between gigs, she blows off steam with her best mate and podcast co-host, Vogue Williams. Joanne is smart, funny, and unashamedly herself.
