A Superhero Comedy Short. What happens when a supervillain is so incompetent that the superhero doesn't even bother stopping him? *Owlman* is a tongue-in-cheek comic-book comedy about the everyday work lives of the hired henchmen who work for third-rate supervillain Dr. Misfortune — and his increasingly ridiculous attempts to catch and kill superhero Owlman. Clocking in and out. Health insurance. Dental care. Overtime. Workplace penalties for failing to kill the sidekick. All the familiar comic-book tropes are turned upside down in this funny look at what it's really like to work for a bad supervillain. And when Dr. Misfortune finally puts his latest super-secret plan into action, things don't exactly go according to plan. Shot in 2005 on a $5,000 budget.
