Prashasti Singh reflects on growing up in a patriarchal Indian family, approaching 40 as an unmarried woman, and the expectations that have shaped her ideas of success, relationships and femininity. Through personal stories about family, therapy, dating and the women who influenced her, she questions whether the life she once aspired to is actually the life she wants.
