Blending archival footage with insights from historians, journalists, magistrates, and witnesses—including Barthélemy Guerini’s daughter, Étienne Léandri’s confidant, and Loïk Le Floch-Prigent—it dissects the murky mechanisms (favors exchanged for immunity) that enabled a little-known yet all-powerful criminal organization to expand globally and infiltrate the corridors of power.
