Follows General William T. Sherman's 1865 Union push from Savannah, Georgia, into South Carolina. The film details the campaign's battlefield clashes at Broxton and River's Bridge, a rare Union cavalry defeat at Aiken, and the continued Union advance toward Columbia and North Carolina.
