Twelve-year-old Amber is the smartest person in the room—even if that room is packed with her loud, over-the-top, and constantly arguing relatives. Known for her fearless attitude and her signature red leather rubber jacket, Amber acts as the eyes and ears of a family that is always one misunderstanding away from a total meltdown. When she accidentally overhears a massive, top-secret piece of family drama, Amber realizes the adults are about to ruin everything. Using her quick wit, street smarts, and a whole lot of teenage attitude, she launches a brilliant plan to save her family from themselves before they tear each other apart.
