The 5th operation-surgical-performance called Operation-Opera took place on July 06, 1991 in Paris. During this operation, ORLAN was operated by Dr. Chérif Kamel Zahar and costumed by the designer Franck Sorbier. During the performance, the artist read “Le Tiers Instruit” by Michel Serres.
