The Synopsis

Actress Christel de Laat talks about her life motto, ‘En door!’, with her characteristic blend of humour, self-deprecation and emotion. For years, that motto drove her forward: don’t whinge, don’t stand still, life goes on and the sun rises for a reason. Until the moment when, lying on the gynaecologist’s examination table, she suddenly realised that pausing more often and simply feeling might be better.
