The Synopsis

Brazil, present times. The country lives under a dictatorship. Defeated at the polls, a candidate refuses to accept the result and leads a coup d'état with the support of the United States. The Amazon rainforest is handed over to foreign interests and large oil corporations—renamed 'Amazon of America'.
