The Synopsis

Based on the first book in Rick Riordan's series, the story follows 12-year-old Percy Jackson, who discovers he is a demigod with newly emerging powers and a target for mythological monsters. Accused of stealing Zeus's master lightning bolt, Percy embarks on a quest across modern-day America to find the true thief, prevent a war among the gods, and reach the Underworld.
