When investigative journalist Ngọc disappears with evidence against the Thái Minh Legend conglomerate, a fateful USB falls into the hands of her closest friend, Kim. Marked as a target by a criminal empire, Kim’s only protector is police officer Chiến Nam. What begins as a protection mission turns into a deep infiltration. As K52—Chiến Nam’s fellow officer—goes missing and Kim is kidnapped, Chiến Nam plunges into Thái Minh’s web of conspiracies. Just when justice seems within reach, the mastermind executes a “cicada shell escape” plan. The true battle has only just begun, forcing Chiến Nam to descend into the darkest depths to uncover the truth behind a perfectly staged illusion.
