When confronted about her late husband’s affair, Nani chooses to protect his truth: he was queer. Her response reveals a complex love and a deep understanding of human frailty. Standing firm in her choices, Nani redefines strength and dignity, embodying a new kind of hero—an immigrant elder dancing into her next chapter while carrying both grief and joy.
