Behind Rosaura lies a story involving a man who is a permanent guest at the boarding house, the painter Camillo Canegato; ahead of her, an improvised wedding and a violent death, all unfolding within a short span of time. But who Rosaura really is -her true identity, her personal history, the traits of her character, even the features of her body- will never be clearly revealed.
