In this album you will be taken on a musical journey through the sounds of the greatest Oscar winners of all time, from classics like Casablanca and Citizen Kane to monumental cinematic works like The Godfather - blockbusters with soundtracks that for almost a century have made us shudder, melt and cry in the darkness of the cinema. The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Danish National Concert Choir, solo singers and hosts are ready on stage to bring these classics and blockbusters to life with Music from Robin Hood, James Bond, The Mission, Apocalypse Now, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Dances with Wolves and more. We don't watch films with our eyes only, but also with our ears. Music elevates the story, brings the characters to life and draws us into the story, and often the notes resonate within us and evoke memories long after the film is over.
