The Synopsis

There's a new student, Cyrus, in Elizabeth's class who feels less than welcomed by his classmates. Jack suggests that Elizabeth introduce a rousing game of baseball to her curriculum! But Cyrus, who wears a leg brace, fears he will still be left out of the fun…until Elizabeth finds a way to include him. Meanwhile, Ray Wyatt of the National Pacific Railroad arrives to present his plans to bring the railroad to town—and also feels less then welcome when feisty Abigail spars with him over the farmland where the tracks will be laid.
