The Synopsis

After waking up to find a sum of money his mother left before traveling, the protagonist buys drugs and a candy ring. He calls his friend Derby, and they get high all afternoon. Later, he goes to his girlfriend's house to give her the ring, only for her to reveal that she's pregnant.
