The Synopsis

In the tradition of the political film, Matthieu Ponchel brings to life Emilie Notéris's powerful text: " Macronique, les choses qui n'existent pas existe quand même" (Macronian, the things that don't exist still exist ). The film unravels the absurdity of political discourse during the 2019-2020 period, in stark contrast to our lived experiences: police brutality, sexist violence. By constantly telling us the opposite of reality, words become empty, white becomes black, war becomes peace, and violence doesn't exist. Short, incisive, impactful, and experimental, this documentary restores meaning and awakens us.
