The Synopsis

An official selection for Slamdance Film Festival 2018, Morgan McGlothan short starring herself and her father Darrin McGlothan is about - daresay - a daughter, a father, and a broken down car. The 1999 Toyota Camry takes up the center of Transmission, around which that word is frequently uttered aloud, and the film opens with a quick call. Their love language of sorts is bringing the other something from the grocery store. Suddenly plastic bottle and bag, wasteful as it is, softly steer their conversation from just about a technical conundrum. - Innas Tsuroiya
