The Synopsis

The action takes place in the Volga Germans republic in the 1920s. The communist, a native of this village, who returns from the Red Army, Martin Vagner, with the help of the central Soviet power and the party, provides economic support to the poor, and then, with the help of the poor's rebellion, wrests the village council from the hands of the kulaks.
