The Synopsis

Unbeaten two-time world champion and Phoenix native David Benavídez aims to thrill fans in his home state for the second consecutive time against former champion and fellow power-puncher David Lemieux in a battle for the interim 168-pound title. Benavídez became the youngest super middleweight world champion in history in 2017 and has stopped his last five opponents. Montreal’s Lemieux, who won his middleweight world title in 2015, has five straight wins. Plus, rising prospect Yoelvis Gómez vs. Jorge Cota in the co-main event.
